ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA BALITA DI PUSKESMAS DOKULAMO KECAMATAN GALELA BARAT

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem characterized by body conditions, especially height that is not appropriate for their age, and in terms of posture, stunted children are also not the same as children of the same age. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the incidence of stunting at the Dokulamo Community Health Center, West Galela District. The method used in this study was a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. Correlational descriptive research is a study that aims to explain a relationship between one variable and another. The sample taken in this study was 48 samples, using a purposive sampling technique, which is one technique that determines the sample with certain considerations. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire, namely a data collection technique that provides several questions where the questions will be shown to the informant and will answer them. The results of this study found that maternal knowledge was mostly in the good category, but did not have a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Health workers at the community health center and integrated health post are expected not only to provide information, but also directly guide mothers of toddlers in the practice of providing appropriate complementary feeding, introducing nutritious local foods, and adjusting to the age and condition of the child
